Options

Keys

Keys made of different woods are available. You can also specify the range. The one pictured above has three octaves, from F3 to F6.

Frames

All frames have folding legs for ease in set up and moving. Alder is usually used for the frames although other species can be used. Keys are strung on rope with optional foam pads underneath. Frames can be ordered in many different species of wood to emphasize utility and/or beauty. Favorites include alder, ash, wenge, nara, and zebra wood. Frame heights can be customized to accomodate player's heights and preferences.

Resonator Tubes

Resonator tubes made of PVC or aluminum pipe are available. They amplify the sound and can provide the traditional african buzzing sound. They can be painted black or left white.
